Hattie Courtford is a Helena, Montana native living in the beautiful Flathead Valley. She has felt called to care for others as long as she can remember. Hattie birthed her first child in January 2022 - going through her own initial journey of motherhood has further fueled Hattie’s passion to serve families navigating the fourth trimester. Hattie spends her days as the Family Engagement Coordinator at The Nurturing Center - a local nonprofit that works to provide comprehensive support, education and resources to families in a way that empowers parents and ultimately eliminates or greatly reduces the risk of abuse or neglect. She is currently working to obtain her birth and postpartum doula certifications through Child Birth International. With a passion for giving back to her community, Hattie is a board member and volunteers with the Postpartum Resource Group, is an active member of the Flathead Valley Breastfeeding Coalition and the Flathead Perinatal Mental Health Coalition. Hattie is passionate about providing nonjudgmental, diverse, informational, emotional and physical support for birthing people and their families.
When Hattie isn't working, you can find her out in mother nature with her beautiful family, doing yoga or enjoying a hot cup of coffee!
